2. stand in the way of sinners or
3. sit in the seat of mockers.
but
4. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and
5. on his law he meditates

FOOTSTEPS!
Posted by werner in Sermon Outline on August 28, 2010
In First Peter 1:20,21 the apostle Peter is writing:
“But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example
THAT YOU SHOULD FOLLOW IN HIS STEPS.”
Intr.:
“Follow Me” is the command of the Lord Jesus Christ. In which places is Christ found? Think of the places. There are more, but I will only mention three here.
The Lord Jesus Christ bids us to follow Him:
A. To the FIELD of service.
“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the
–Holy Spirit and
–power, and
how he went around
–doing good and
–healing all who were under the power of the devil,
because God was with him.”
B. To the GARDEN of Gethsemane.
C. To the CROSS of Calvary.
