DIY STORES

DIY or d.i.y. is the abbreviation for do – it – yourself. (This is written for people, who are not from Britain and New Zealand and people who don’t like abbreviations like myself.)

Do – it – yourself

Kiwis, New Zealanders, rather do things themselves than spending money. They are not only innovative, but also resourceful.

They are also encouraged to take up DIY challenges. Lots of information is available. Retail staff is helpful and we must not forget the helpful TV programmes and social media.

BUT WHY AM I WRITING THIS?

A question: “What do you think about do – it – yourself (DIY) jobs? Please let me know. And I really want to know!”

Guess how much money New Zealanders spend in one year at DIY stores? The answer is about $ 1 billion.
