“THE BUCKET LIST”

About putting some things on the list, I am reading in the book. The list is “the bucket list.”

I don’t know what is on your list, but I know what is on my list.

If you do not have  RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND BELIEVE IN HIS NAME on your list, add it now.

I am sure you notice the bucket

I am sure you notice the bucket

The above mentioned book is called Glimpses of Te Omanga (100 + Hospice Stories), and it is collated by Beryl Anderson. I have heard before about the film “The Bucket List,” and it is not surprising that the film “The Bucket List” is mentioned in this book at least twice. It is a memorable film, I am told. I have not seen it. Please let me know, if you have.

In the book Glimpses of Te Omanga is also someone mentioned who has still some things to cross off his “bucket list.”

If you have not received the Lord Jesus Christ as yet and if you have not believed in him yet, do it now.

THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BECOME A CHILD OF GOD.

GIVING

“It’s not how much we give, but how much we put into giving,” I am reading on the sign standing on the footpath.

Thinking about it, reminds me of a portion of the Bible

There are two parts, namely “It’s not how much we give,” and “but how much we put into giving.”

It

“It’s not how much we give, but how much we put into giving.”

“IT’S NOT HOW MUCH WE GIVE.”

There are the rich people. They are giving big sums of money. The Lord Jesus Christ watched them doing it one day.

BUT HOW MUCH WE PUT INTO GIVING.”

But there are also the poor people.

On the same day when the Lord Jesus Christ watched the rich people offering lots of money, the Lord Jesus watched also a poor widow putting two lepta (two very small copper coins) into the temple treasury.

And what does the Lord Jesus Christ say? He said that the rich people are giving because they are so rich, but the poor widow “‘put in all she had to live on.'”

He said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.”
