“LONGER LIVES” in the NEWS

“Reading helps people lead longer lives” and “Readers booking in for longer life.”

At the present time I am finding those two articles in our papers, one in The New Zealand Herald and the other in one of our local papers. (Northern News)

Which countries read now the most books? What do you think? What a surprise it was for me to find out that INDIA comes first, THAILAND comes second and CHINA comes third. That is by the World Culture Index.

I am especially interested in Thailand. I worked there as a missionary for 13 years.

There is no doubt that people are interested in living long lives on this earth. But hang on, life on planet earth is not all, there is more.

The real ‘GOOD NEWS’ is that being an avid reader of the Bible and believing what the Bible says does not only helps us to lead longer lives in this world, but helps us to enter eternal life.

How much do you read the Bible?

Please let me know!

To one of our neighbours, who took us to the  bus stop one morning on short notice lately, because I could not get hold of the taxi driver in spite of telling him beforehand.

Let us be thankful for good neighbours.
