TWO GROUPS

In this quote Watchman Nee is talking about one sort of people. But if we are looking closer, we find here two groups:

“THEY SPEND MORE TIME IN ANALYSING, IN COLLECTING MATERIALS, AND IN HARD THINKING THAN ON PRAYER, ON SEEKING GOD’S MIND AND ON WAITING FOR THE POWER FROM ABOVE.” – Watchman NEE

ONE GROUP IS SPENDING MORE TIME IN:

  • analysing,
  • collecting materials,
  • hard thinking.

THE OTHER GROUP IS SPENDING MORE TIME ON:

  • prayer,
  • seeking God’s mind
  • waiting for the power from above.

Two questions: To which group do I belong? To which group do you belong?

Quote

“He [a believer] can say, ‘If I should lose all I have, it is better that I should lose than have, if God so wills: the worst calamity is the wisest and the kindest thing that could befall me if God ordains it.'” – C. H. Spurgeon
