Why is it not Mentioned?

There is something missing, I was thinking, when reading the article “Momentous night for Kaikohe Rotary Club”, in our local paper. (The Northland Age, Thursday, July 7, 2016)

The function was the farewell for a couple I know quite well. We lived in Kaikohe for almost 25 years working there as missionaries. (United Maori Mission, UMM)

ROTARY

ROTARY

In the article I am reading how the couple has been honoured, about the things they have been involved in and more. There is quite a long list about their achievements. It is quite impressive to read. The building of an airplane is also mentioned, and it is still flying.

But I am missing that the couple was leading the Brethren Assembly in Kaikohe for a long time. It is not mentioned. I said already that we worked as missionaries in Kaikohe, and I used to preach at times in the Brethren Chapel. The Chapel was not far away from our dwelling.

“LONG STORY SHORT”

“what is the bible actually about?

“long story short is an 11 part series that lets the bible tell its own story.”
