“Secure Your Future…”
“Secure Your Future,…” I am reading at least twice in the latest: The buy your own business magazine FRANCHISE NEW ZEALAND (Spring 2010). The word “Future” is prominent in the magazine. “Secure Your Future… Be part of New Zealand’s Fastest Growing Coffee Chain.” “Secure your future, become a Franchisee for a brand loved and respected around the world. (Gloria Jean’s Coffees)”
Let me tell you about my Secure Future:
“SECURE YOUR FUTURE….”
Become part of the Body of Christ.
“The church is the body of Christ, in Paul’s figure of speech (First Corinthians 12:12-26). Christian believers are members (parts) of the body of Christ. As the head, Christ rules over the body (Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:12, Ephesians 4:15-16). ” – 20th Century Bible Dictionary
“SECURE YOUR FUTURE…”
Be a conqueror through the Lord Jesus Christ who loved us.
Do you know, what the Bible says about my future, my fears for today and my worries about tomorrow? The Bible, the Word of the Living God, says, that neither the present nor the future will be able to separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. “But the greatest of these is love.” – First Corinthians 13:13 That is easy to remember!

“When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.” – Proverbs 10:19
“A man who lacks judgment derides his neighbour, but a man of understanding holds his tongue.” – Proverbs 11:12
The Book “WOMAN TO WOMAN” by Eugenia Price
I read again the first chapter of the book “Woman to Woman” by E. Price called “The Difference It Makes When a Woman’s Personality Is Christ-controlled.”
I remember picking it up for almost nothing in a second-hand shop in Orewa in 1979 on our way from Whangaparaoa to Kaikohe.
Many, many sentences in the first chapter of the book are underlined, not with a pencil, but with a ballpoint pen.
Here are two quotes:
“Whatever the personality type, the basic fact remains: Women hold within their natures a potentially dangerous power to mark lives. All women. Married and single. Thin and fat. Tall and short. Educated and uneducated. Weak and strong. Shrinking violets and domineering frigates in full sail.”- page seven
“And we are being unrealistic and hiding behind the long touted and utterly false “weak little woman” theory when we refuse to admit that sin entered the world through a women; when we refuse to admit that it invaded the human race through a woman’s influence.” - page six

Proverbs 3:32
“for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.”
“be seen in the crowd”
The little WEC International – reaching people planting churches – magazine called GO INTO is printed by Finity Design Limited.
“Finity looks for design inspiration in the uniqueness of your company and expresses it in a fresh but timeless way…”
“BE SEEN IN THE CROWD”
I like that!
“BE SEEN IN THE CROWD…… as a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ!
The Bible, the Word of the Living God says: Philippians 2:15
“.., so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe….”
The Storm Today
“THESE MEN…”
Jude 12-13
Intr.:
“These men are
1. blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm-
2. shepherds who feed only themselves.
3. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind;
4. autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted – twice dead.
5. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame;
6. wandering stars, for whom the blackest darkness has been reserved forever.”
End:
PRAYER

“Satan dreads nothing but prayer. His one concern is to keep the saints from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.” – Samuel Chadwick

SEEDS
“THE SEED THAT IS NURTURED WILL FLOURISH. UNNURTURED SEEDS FAIL TO FLOURISH”
That was written on the poster I saw today.
In Luke 8:11 the Bible says, “‘This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.’”
In First Corinthians 3:6 the apostle Paul says, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow.”
