One can make the Bible say anything

The two young men were sitting there together on a sofa in the shopping centre. One had an open Bible on his lap pointing to Bible verses and reading them out aloud. The other young man was listening attentively. The Bible reader had a mate, who was doing the same on a seat nearby.

What a picture!

When I got talking to one of the Bible readers I found out, that they belong to the WORLD MISSION SOCIETY Church of God.

Eventually they gave me two leaflets and a questionnaire.

Apparently they believe in “God the Mother.”

I remember what one of our Bible School teachers once said: One can make the Bible say anything.
