I HAVE ONE MORE QUESTION TO ANSWER

In front of the local Mortgage Office you can read today (15.07.08), “IS YOUR MORTGAGE RUNNING YOUR LIFE? – SEE US FOR YOUR MORTGAGE REVIEW TODAY! — CREATING * A REAL FUTURE.”

I noticed that money institutions are very much concerned about our FUTURE. The National Bank for example is advertising, “National Kiwi Saver Scheme. Start your FUTURE NOW.”

No, a mortgage is not ruling my life!

The Lord Jesus Christ is ruling my life already for a long time, namely from before the CREATION of the world. — What a thought! — Please read Ephesians 1:4,5. “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love He predestined us….” Maybe that’s why I don’t even have a mortgage. So I don’t need to come and see you.

You asked the question and you got my answer!

On top of that the Lord Jesus Christ created THE real FUTURE for me not only for this life, but also for the life to come.

Let us learn to throw our stones far enough!

* You see the word “create” quite a lot today. But I think we humans are not really able to “create” anything, only GOD is creating things. For example: “Paint box-Creative Hair Colour- $20″

Please let me know, what you think about that!

“START A NEW CHAPTER OF YOUR LIFE”

“Start a new chapter of your life”, I read in the newspaper in a big restaurant. It was written in bold letters and I have the page of the newspaper here. The manager of the eating place allowed me to take it home. Very kind of him, I thought.

The university of Waikato announces, “Start a new chapter of your life”.

They want people to pick up the phone and ring 0800 WAIKATO. It says,”Our wide range of internationally recognised courses and programmes can help you change direction, further your career or take a step closer to achieving all that you can.”

Better let the Lord Jesus Christ “start a new chapter of your life.”

The Lord Jesus Christ started a new chapter of my life many years ago. I did not even have to pick up the phone. He saw me in the mire and picked me up. Psalm 40:1,2,3. When the Lord Jesus Christ came into my life the direction of my life changed completely. I was on my way to hell. But now I am going in the opposite direction. I am on my way to HEAVEN. My career changed also.

The advertisement of the university is at the bottom of the page. The top of the page has an article called “Thirst for adventure.” There is also the picture of a man climbing a rock. (The whole page, in fact that whole section of the paper, had to do with EDUCATION!)

I am glad, that the ADVENTURE article is on the same page; it reminds me of my adventurous life with the LORD. If you really want an adventurous life, ask the Lord Jesus to start a new chaper of your life.

My adventure started travelling in Europe, working in asia as a missionary and now I am at the “end ” of the world in New Zealand.

“Dear Fellow Pilgrims all over the World,….”

An email I received some time ago started with those words and I was awake straight away. The post came from the Headquarters of our Missionary Society in Germany near Frankfurt.

I am glad that the letter writer reminded us again that we are pilgrims in this world. It is so easy to forget that. The Book “Pilgrim’s Progress” by John Bunyan came to my mind straight away. The following I found out only just now about the book “Pilgrim’s Progress”: “No less than 100 000 copies were printed in the ten years before his death,- that is, between 1678 and 1688.” “With the exception of the Greatest book of all, the Bible, no book has ever had so many copies printed.” ” The Pilgrim’s Progress has also been translated into over 100 languages.” DID YOU KNOW ALL THAT?

Especially in the KJV of the Bible we find the word pilgrimage and pilgrims. Please click on the following addresses and read: Genesis 47:9; Exodus 6:4; Psalm 119:54; First Peter 2:11 and Hebrews 11:13.

Are we also confessing, that we are STRANGERS on the earth? Are we also confessing, that we are PILGRIMS on the earth? The NIV translation calls us aliens and strangers! Are you admitting, that you are an ALIEN on earth?

Are we longing to go home, to be with the Lord? Are we rejoicing when the doctor is telling us, that our time here is up soon?——I DON’T THINK SO!?
