“R is for RELATIONSHIPS”

I am interested in relationships and that’s why I took this picture. And I am really glad that I did. The word relationship seems to be a very important word.

Click on the picture to enlarge it and you can read in one corner of the picture: ” THIS IS THE PLACE. Hard To Resist. SYLVIA PARK.”

There is a big — half a page — advertisement in todays newspaper the “Northern News”. (July 23, 2008) It says, “Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life.” The author of the advertisement is a certified course leader based on Louise Hay Philosophy.

She is very much interested in relationships and asks, “How are your relationships with: Your parents? Your children? Your siblings? Your friends? Your neighbours? Your boss? Your colleagues?”

The most important question is missing:

HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LIVING GOD?

FAVOURED BOOK

I read today, ” For Americans at the start of the 20th century, the BIBLE was the favoured book.”

We are now 100 years later and I am wondering what the favoured book is now!

One more GOLDEN NUGGET

Genesis 32:26

Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.” But Jakob replied, “I WILL NOT LET YOU GO UNLESS YOU BLESS ME.”

HE SAW THE SKELETON!

He never expected to have a vision.

Visions did not interest him especially. But there it was, all of a sudden!

A fairly large room with a number of people here and there. He looked around and they looked to him like a skeleton. They all together seemed to make up a big skeleton. Or were they as individuals skeletons as well? They were actually!

Unfortunately the room he saw in his vision was not confined to any particular part of the world. Rooms like this with skeletons can be found all over the world.

Those skeletons were coming to be fed. But there was no food for them.

Do you also see the skletons and the skeleton?

You will find them in many of the churches today!

TERRIBLE JOKES:

My friend drowned in a bowl of muesli. A strong currant pulled him in.

Two blondes walk into a building …… you’d think at least one of them would have seen it.

Our ice cream man was found lying on the floor of his van covered with hundreds and thousands. Police say that he topped himself.

ANOTHER GOLDEN NUGGET:

Psalm 87:7 ” ALL MY FOUNTAINS ARE IN YOU.”

When are we going to learn that?
