Worshiping
In my Bible Reading today ( Second Kings 17 ) I came to to the part where it talks about worshiping: Second Kings 17:32 They worshiped the Lord, but…. Second Kings 17:33 They worshiped the Lord, but…. Second Kings 17:41 Even while these people were worshiping the Lord, they were serving their idols. And then it says: TO THIS DAY THEIR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN CONTINUE TO DO AS THEIR FATHERS DID.

A wife invited some people to dinner. At the table, she turned to their six year old daughter and said,”Would you like to say the blessing?” I wouldn’t know what to say,” the girl replied. “Just say what your hear mummy say”, the wife answered. The daughter bowed her head and said,” Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?”

A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they were on the way to a church service,”And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?” One bright little girl replied,”Because people are sleeping.”

One particular four-year-old prayed,” And forgive us our trash baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets.”

A little boy was overheard praying: “Lord, if you can’t make me a better boy, don’t worry about it. I’m having a real good time like I am.”

It is an ONLINE course and I worked on the first Lesson today.-The weather is just right for some study. (It is raining! 25.03.2008)

“Put the spring back in your step…”
This advertisement was in the September issue of a popular magazine. It said,”put the spring back in your step…” It was all about discovering a Lake District in our country in spring, doing spring skiing, looking at spring flowers etc. It finished with,”Discover springtime in Lake Wanaka- a new start in paradise.” (Notice the word paradise again!)
Why do we read so often about PARADISE?
The best way to put the ‘spring’ back in our step is to read the Bible, the Word of God. I know that from my own experience. Those who know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour, understand the Bible and they are on their way to the real Paradise. (Heaven) We read about the real paradise in the Bible in Luke 23:43.
