All my fountains are in you.–Psalm 87:7–LAST VERSE!

I remember hearing once that a servant of the Lord became the ‘MAN OF ONE BOOK’, the Bible. If I remember correctly it was a missionary on a boat to the mission field, who threw all other books over board and kept only the WORD OF GOD.

What a summary of his reading material. And in Psalm 87:7 we find another summary: ALL MY FOUNTAINS ARE IN YOU.

When I meditated on that verse I asked myself: “HAVE I LEARNED THAT?” All my fountains are in you! -One attribute of God came to my mind. Only God is self existent. We are dependent beings. And I say it again, as I have said before, we are not even sure of our next breath. Only the LORD knows. That really helps me to learn the Lesson: “FEAR GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS.”– Ecclesiastes 12:13–(ALL MY FOUNTAINS (Springs) ARE IN YOU!)

Is that not what we want?

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a big mammel, its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was impossible.

The little girl said,” When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah.” The teacher asked,”What if Jonah went to hell?”. The girl replied,” Then you can ask him.”

Is this brainwashing?

‘THE MORE YOU BUY THE MORE YOU SAVE’ I saw advertised while window shopping. The Warehouse announces in the newspaper: ‘THE SAVINGS MULTIPLY WHEN YOU MULTIBUY!’ And it carries on like this: Buy 2 get the 3rd FREE on all TOYS* 2 Days Only! Stock up for Christmas!/ Buy 2 get the 3rd FREE! on all Christmas Themed Products*. etc.

That sounds really good! But is it the TRUTH? May be it is halftruth? And half the truth is a complete error? Or not?

It is the same when it comes to spiritual things. Some things sound really good, but they are halftruths. And half the truth is a complete error!
